help with a nerd that likes me!?
We are in the 10th grade. He gave me a note saying that he has liked me since the 6th grade, and i quote, “you stole my heart in the sixth grade.” he is sort of a nerd and i don’t like him, but i told him i would go to a movie with him. His twin sister is one of my friends, not like a best friend, but i don’t want to like hurt our friendship by breaking her brother’s heart. what should i do? He also doesn’t try to communicate with me. i have talked to him like a couple of times on the computer and gone to like 2 movies with him, but he considers me his girlfriend. which i don’t want to be! help!

Whether he is a nerd or not, you do not need an excuse not to see him if you do not want to.
You have been more than nice in trying to not hurt feelings and I think it is time for you to have a conversation with his sister and explain the issue to her. She, as a woman, should understand where you are coming from and surely would not be dumb enough to expect you to date someone you do not like. Actually, she will probably be embarrassed by her twins actions and if you cannot get any help or understanding from her, then she is not worthy of being your friend anyway.
At that point, approach romeo and explain to him there is someone else in your life, and you cannot see him anymore and if you need a name, use mine, Darryl.
Bottom line is, you have to spell it out to him and set him straight or you will pay a terrible price in being pressured into a relationship you do not want. He will probably be hurt, but he will get over it and better for him to do the hurting when it comes to your future.
